Five Things to Prepare for the Season
Registration closed March 15, so we're actively working on setting up teams and working with coaches to prepare for the season. We're also working with a new platform this year (Crossbar), so please don't be alarmed if you receive a notification of something that disappears a moment later. We're working diligently to get this set up in a way that is as easy as possible for you.
Five Things to Prepare for the Season
1 - Sign up for an Off-season Clinic, if you haven't already. We still have three more happening this spring.
2 - Download the Crossbar app if you haven't already. This is where you will get your practice schedule, game schedule and team information from coaches.
3 - Did your player grow? Consider if they need updated equipment. We'll share some equipment guidelines on our website in the next week or so, but we will also be sharing a 20% off coupon for Dicks Sporting Goods April 4-7 at the Madison stores (in-person only). We will share that coupon when it's available, but it's typically just the day or two before.
4 - Catch a local game! Your Wisconsin Heights High School Varsity Softball team starts games on April 1! The Badgers are also playing already, and so is Madison College.
5 - Talk to your player about playing softball this summer. Are they excited? What can they do to prepare? Are they nervous about something and you can help resolve it now, before the season?
